I just purchased this new lamp on line from West Elm. I'm not keeping it out in the middle of the floor, of course. Oh..and I don't know how to turn photos vertical in Blogger yet, so just tilt your head to the side to check it out. The bonus was that the lamp shade is so big that it was sent in its own box...a box that is just the perfect size for a FORT! So here are photos of Matthew's very first fort!

So true Tish!! Interesting that the verse in James doesn't say, "Care about the orphan... have compassion for the orphan... have a burden for the orphan." It says VISIT. It's not enough to just feel sorry for them, we're supposed to do something about it!
And you're right, visiting can take many forms. I think as long as we're taking some kind of action, we're practicing the true religion that James talks about.
So good to connect with you, sister! :) Wish we lived closer by - how old is Matthew now? I bet he and Grant would get along.
