Rough Start Update
Well, what I thought to be a surge of Atopic Dermatitis turned out to be HIVES! Matthew's skin cleared up shortly after my initial post and then got drastically worse by afternoon. I took him to the urgent care facility, and the doctor said that some people can get hives with viral infections such as what Matthew appears to have (runny nose, oozy eyes, etc). He prescribed zyrtec for the itching, and we have a follow up appointment scheduled with his pediatrician. No fun for our little guy!

I am so sorry your little guy is having issues with his skin! I have 2 that have super sensitive skin, it's really high maintenance!
But I have to mention... you might want to put the boogerey picture up in that safe place. You know the spot that will hold the pictures that you'll refer to when they're 16 and feeling a bit too big for their britches ;)
He's gorgeous with boogers all over or not! Hope he's all better SOON!!
Awwwwwww...as someone who does get hives, I sympathise! I don't get them often, but if extremely stressed I do. And once when I was bitten by a bee and then a hornet in the space of 24 hours. That was the worst. They lasted almost a week!
btw I'm looking up that paint color for you, but it means going in the basement (I hate the basement) and looking through my large collection of paint cans!
poor guy - Zyrtec is awesome - both of my kids use it for allergies.
We just got Reed some Zyrtec tonight at Target! Apparently our American climate can really reek havoc on our little Taiwan babies! I hope he feels better soon.
Poor Baby. I hope he is better soon!
Poor guy! I hope the hives clear up soon. We "think" we found out what causes Kobi's bumps/ blisters. Lots and LOTS of different foods. Plus soaps, lotions and detergents. Our poor little babes:(
Oh no!!!!!! Poor lil Matthew!!!! No fun going to urgent care with a baby... I hope that Zyrtec helps! Do you think he has allergies to something?
Feel better soon, little man!!
Oh my..glad you got that checked out so he can start feeling better. I better watch Yu-Lin carefully to see if he starts to develop it. Kristie
