5th Anniversary!!!

Hooray for 5 years! Hooray for marriage and the way God uses it to change and grow us! Hooray for a husband who always displays the love described in 1 Corinthians 13.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Cor 13:4-8

Scott & I were married on the beach in Kona, HI by Pastor Izy Manzo. We spent the morning eating awesome hashbrowns at a dive restaurant overlooking the ocean. Our wedding was at 3:00, and we got ready at the pastor's house. Once showered and dressed, we were sitting around their kitchen table when Izy asked "So, you guys want to go to Taco Bell?" His wife quickly interjected, "No, they want to go get married!" Izy's wife was our videographer and his friend our photographer. We had to interrupt the wedding twice when, first, the video camera ran out of battery and, second, when one the of the Manzo kids ran up to ask her mom a question. After the wedding we had a little break before more picture taking and, since there wasn't enough time to drive to our resort, we had to find a quick dinner...at the Little Caesar's Pizza Station in KMart! So in our wedding clothes, we grubbed on greasy pizza! After more photos, we stopped at the grocery store to stock up on treats and then headed for our wonderful room at the Waikaloa Resort! It was the most laid-back, stress-free, wonderfully marvelous wedding! And I'm still in love!
