I have always loved photography but, for unknown reasons (laziness, expense, cowardice, time, did I mention cowardice?, etc.), I've never taken photography classes. In fact, I never even read my camera instruction books. A friend of mine told me about
Picasa, which is a free software download from Google for editing photos. "Free" is a total buzzword for me, so I gave it a spin. You can see from the photos above the difference editing can make. I can't even remember what exactly I did to the photo...I was just having fun clicking on different tabs. This makes me want to run out and buy Photoshop or some other fancy editing tool...but maybe I can find a way to get one free!

I LOVE PICASA!!!
I have had it for the past like, 6 years! Seriously!! Total Picasa girl here!! :)
We will have to chat more about photo editing in that program. :) Another cool one (that I use to edit pics for my blogs) is Picnik. (www.picnik.com). It's free online software... has a bit more options than Picasa. But it's a pain to upload/download when Picasa is right on your computer!
