Gettin' Down to Business
I love to let Matthew feed himself and get really messy. I think it is a baby's joy and privilege. Imagine how cool it feels to stick your hands into a container of pureed guava dessert! Here are some photos from last week at lunch.

I agree - babies have so much fun feeding themselves!! Half of it ends up on them or on the floor... but that's the learning process right?? :) Grant loves using his spoon and fork so much that he will outright refuse a bite from mama. I have to put the fork DOWN and let HIM pick it up and shovel it in.

Sticky-ness everywhere!! I think I need to learn your "letting-go" tips on feeding baby. What spray stain removers do work the best? Hehehe!
I agree with Sherry. I have to mellow out about that..I'm constantly wiping Yu-Lin so that there isn't a mess all over his clothes and on the high chair and floor. Though we do have two dogs who would be happy to eat his droppings off the floor. Kristie
