Matthew met Santa today! I dressed him in his fancy duds and rushed him (between naps) over to the mall to get his photo taken in the Winter Wonderland (in the desert). There was only one kid in front of us and all he wanted was a blue ninja turtle, so the line moved really quickly (not quick enough for Matthew's diaper which I had JUST changed before we walked into the mall).
Matthew didn't cry at all, but it was hard to get a photo because he kept looking back at Santa. It was a stare-down of some sorts that only the two of them understand...I guess we'll see what Santa leaves in his Christmas stocking (or "sock" if you read the previous Christmas post).
Since no one else was waiting in line, I asked Santa if he would mind watching Matthew while I did some shopping, but he said he had a date with some egg nog in the JC Penney's parking lot. I didn't get the $20+ photo cd, so here is a photo of the photo!

The picture actually came out really well. He looks so dignified in the shot.
Wow, I'm so impressed that he didn't cry or anything. And Ann is right he loos very veyr dignified. What a little man.
Sorry about the diaper probs. I'm still struggling myself with Mia. I miss European diapers, they hold everything - like Taiwan diapers, I hear.

I wondered that same thing - about foreign diapers...something is different and I'm not sure why. In Europe I could use generic ones and literally use them the whole day (except for poopy diapers of course). And they had huggies etc. too, which were sooo much better than American huggies. Too bad we can't import the foreign ones in.
Please note - Canada ones are just like US ones, terrible.
What a handsome boy! Tish, I love reading your blog! Your mom is right, it's funny - I don't know how you are in real life, but I hope one day I get to find out. Would love for the boys to meet sometime! He is so adorable - and yes, he is getting big!

PS - I wonder why US and Canada have the suckiest diapers in the world. Someone should start importing them - I'd definitely buy them!
He looks so cute on Santa's lap. What did he ask for, that will fit in that little sock?? I hope Santa is up for a challenge this year. :)
