oops...
Is anyone knowledgeable in external hard drives...and know why the photos that I transferred from my computer to the hard drive are no longer there? As in NO.LONGER.THERE!!!!??? The file folders show up, but they are now empty.

Oh my. I don't know much (hardly anything, in fact) but I know enough to know that's not good news...
are they still showing up on your computer?
Oh I wish I had the answer for you. I hope you find them ; ( I lost so many of my pictures when I bought a new computer and tried to transfer stuff over...
scary! just catching up on blogs and this one makes me nervous. i still have all my photos on the laptop but we started backing up to an external hard drive too in the event the laptop ever crashes. i guess i need to make sure the pictures are really there before i rest in that safety net.
by the way, love the story of dropping the snacks in the water! glad to know we all have those days... :)
hmm no idea.. maybe you can zip the photos and upload them online in case such things happen again..
