thank you

During one of my visits home my mom asked if, upon her passing, I would thank all the people who prayed for her. She is now in the presence of Christ and, since so many of you have lifted my family in prayer these past months, I wanted to post an expression of our deep gratitude. My heart is full of "thanks" for you.

"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you..." Phil 1:3

Praise the Lord your mom's struggle is finally over and she is in the loving arms of her savior.

I pray you feel God's presence around you comforting you through your pain.

I wish I could give you a hug.

I'm so sorry.

TISH!

I am crying so hard... I can't stop. I just sent your mom a card. An hour ago.

I woke up this morning and the Lord laid it on my heart to go buy a card for her and send it. On the front it talked about the power of prayer. I told your mom we loved her and were praying, and I wrote the verses from Lamentations about God's compassion never failing and being new every morning.

I am just in shock. I saw that picture of your mom with M and I had to read your post about 5 times before my mind could wrap around the fact that she is not here anymore.

I am grieving with you right now! I miss her!!

Praising Jesus that she is at His feet right now... free from pain. That He is wiping the tears from her eyes (because I'm sure she misses you and Smooch and M).

I love you and please call me if you want to.

Love,
Rebecca

Oh Tish... i am covered in goosebumps... I am so sorry for your loss, as I know it so intimately. I am crying as I type this, tears just streaming down my face. I am so thankful that she is at peace, but how my heart aches for your hurt, as I know that hurt so well. I love you and will be praying that all of your best memories of such a beautiful woman lift you up as you move through the grieving hours...

Oh, Tish-

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, but I'm sure it helps in some measure to know that she is no longer suffering and is worshiping her Savior right now! Your heart must just ache even with that knowledge though! It doesn't make the loss any easier. What a great picture of her with Matthew!

I wish I could be there to give you a hug or make a meal. Anything to help.....

Know that I will be praying for you and for your family over the next few days and months!

Love you!
Jenna

Tish -

My thoughts are with you and your family. I think you said it best in your last post - there is real pain - and yet there is real hope in the midst of the pain. Prayers that you are surrounded by that perfect peace and hope in these next several weeks and months. "To live is Christ; to die is gain."

Oh my goodness, Tish. I am so sorry for your loss, it is unfathomable, I am sure, for someone who has not lost their mother. I hope you are able to find comfort knowing she is now in the arms of Jesus. Your faith has always inspired me, your kindness and selfless love for others. Somehow, I think those are traits you might have gotten from your mother :)
Thinking of you, praying for you.

Tish....I was in Chicago for a couple of weeks and couldn't check my email, etc. I'm sooo sorry for your loss and your mom's passing. But I'm glad she is no longer suffering and is with our Lord and Savior! I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers as no matter how much we know she is in a better place, I know she is deeply missed by all of her loved ones that remain on this earth until you can be reunited again in Heaven. Much blessings to you.
