I guess kids are our reason to up the ante on vegetables. I like foodnetwork.com. It has quick & easy or you can look things up by food type, etc. If nothing else, throw a roast in the crock pot with potatoes, onion, carrots. Then you can use the leftovers for French Dips or anything with shredded beef.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15177385522061233297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148039363496292683.post-5552529402860165952008-09-06T11:54:00.000-06:002008-09-06T11:54:00.000-06:00Cute pig! My favorites are Everyday Italian w/Giada (her pastas are usually easy and kid friendly) and I also like Ellie Kreiger (although she uses a lot of veggies). :) Good luck!
StaciStacihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00594371157209355963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5148039363496292683.post-41112411142676221012008-09-06T10:55:00.000-06:002008-09-06T10:55:00.000-06:00Tish! They never last long at my house either...

Simplicity is definitely the ticket for my meal planning, too. Once in awhile I splurge and get fancy with the spices (that's a line from Ratatouille!), but most of the time we go very basic. I really like my Kaz cookbook for nice simple recipes. I think you probably saw my post about it awhile back... we LOVE everything we've tried from there!

My old standby is allrecipes.com... they have links for simple/quick. You'll love them. I always go for the high-rated recipes.

Do you guys make quesadillas? My hubby will only eat lettuce, green beans and corn, so veggies are a big hit here either. As far as cook books, I like to look up recipes on some of the recipe sites, google it.
